with Purson, From Beyond There's an unspoken edict handed down through the ages when it comes to rock bands: there are no rules. Nobody picks up a guitar to be constricted or oppressed. It's all about feeling free artistically. Now, The SwordJohn Cronise [vocals, guitar], Kyle Shutt [guitar], Bryan Richie [bass], and Santiago Vela III [drums]cut out boundaries since day one. Their style never stood predicated on a trend or a template. They always create what feels right and let the results speak for themselves. When it came time to record the group's fifth full-length album, High Country [Razor & Tie], Cronise landed at something of a spiritual crossroads. Following the final tour for their critically acclaimed Apocryphon, he holed up in his North Carolina home and eventually began writing new songs. The material began to veer into a different space that at the time Cronise felt was somewhat outside of The Sword's sphere."I didn't even intend for the demos to be Sword songs," he explains. "But then I realized that I had taken on a sort of limiting view of what The Sword was, and that wasn't actually what I wanted it to be. I think the new album is more reflective of the music I listen to and where our heads are at collectively. With each of our albums, it's become less about fury and bombast and more about trying to write good songs. We realized that our music can go wherever we want it to go. There's no pre-determined course here now, and there never was." High Country became new territory for The Sword, and they began doing things differently. That approach included more attention to backing vocals and harmonies, implementing more synthesizers and percussion elements, and tuning to E-flat instead of all the way down to C. As a result, the guitars stand out as more vital and vibrant than ever."I felt like the low tuning had become more of a crutch than a tool," he says. "It was all a matter of trying to keep things fresh, and not fall prey to habits or expectations. We wanted to break out of any classifications and just put out a good rock record."Inspired, the boys headed to Church House Recording Studio in Austin, TX to cut High Country with Adrian Quesada of Brownout and Grupo Fantasma producing, Stuart Sykes [The White Stripes] engineering, and J. Robbins mixing. Over the course of four weeks, they hammered out the album's 15 tracks in the old converted church. Thematically though, Cronise's head was still in North Carolina."There are a lot of lyrical themes that run throughout the album," he explains. "I live out in the mountains, so nature really inspired the whole record. That's a large part of the lyrics."The title track and first single "High Country" springs from a transfixing guitar melody into a sweeping refrain, illuminating the group's inherent dynamics. Over those rolling riffs, the singer paints a thought-provoking topography."That was actually the first song I wrote that ended up going on the record," he says. "The title can have quite a few meanings. Physically, it might mean mountains and literal high country, but it can also refer to a plane of being; a place of wisdom and enlightenment.""Empty Temples" opens with a psychedelic buzz that quickly ramps up into towering guitars and another robust vocal display evocative of rock's golden age."It's loose and swinging, but it has these epic moments," says Cronise. "Lyrically, it's about letting go of the past and moving on. You just have faith if you embrace change and be unafraid, and you'll find where you need to go."The gathering storm of "Early Snow" eventually gives way to a rapturous horn section, another first for the band, while "Mist and Shadow" stirs up a haze of blues that's instantly thunderous. "That song is based around riffs written by Bryan, which is a new thing for us. He contributed quite a bit of music to this album, and in many ways it's our most collaborative work to date."Both "The Dreamthieves" and "Tears Like Diamonds" have titles inspired by the work of science fiction author Michael Moorcock, though Cronise insists the lyrics have lives of their own. "I'd prefer to let people interpret the songs how they want," he says, "which is one reason the lyrics aren't printed in the album sleeve this time. I think they're pretty intelligible and accessible, and I didn't want them to distract from the music." The Sword's impact continues to expand. 2012's Apocryphon debuted at #17 on the Billboard Top 200, marking their highest entry on the chart. Since first emerging with 2006's Age of Winters, the group has been extolled by everyone from Rolling Stone and The Washington Post to Revolver and Decibel. Metallica personally chose them as support for a global tour, and they've earned high-profile syncs in movies including Jennifer's Body and Jonas kerlund's Horsemen. However, High Country is the band's biggest, boldest, and brightest frontier."I want to make positive, uplifting music," Cronise leaves off. "High Country has moments of darkness and thoughtfulness, as anything I write probably will. But at the end of the day I want to put smiles on people's faces."

with Purson, From Beyond One of the foundations of the metal revival of the past ten years, Austin TX's The Sword have released two flawless slabs of vintage heaviness on Kemado Records, toured the world with Metallica, and were one of the first bands to lock into a whole new legion of fans through Guitar Hero. This summer, the band casts its gaze to the stars for Warp Riders, their third full-length and their most ambitious effort to date.Warp Riders is The Sword's first concept album, a science fiction maelstrom put to the storming, relentless riffage and pounding rhythms upon which the band has staked its reputation. It's also their most flat-out, supercharged, adrenaline-pumping work yet, a chrome-plated war machine that lords over the blackened sky. From the street-prowling anthems "Night City" and "Lawless Lands" to the two-part showdown of "The Chronomancer," to the furious mechanics of closing track "(The Night the Sky Cried) Tears of Fire," The Sword forces eminent domain ruling over heavy metal for the next decade, and welcome all challengers for an ill-fated shot at the title. The story of Warp Riders, entitled "The Night The Sky Cried Tears Of Fire" (written by Cronise), follows Ereth as he discovers a mysterious

Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now
I hear you’re feeling down
Well, I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again
I need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re sayin’
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown, the dream is gone
I have become comfortably numb
I am totally stoked to have had the opportunity to create a sculpture of the

I’ve become so numb I can’t feel you there
Become so tired so much more aware
I’m becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
Can’t you see that you’re smothering me?
Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control
?Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart right in front of you
This is the first image I explicitly made for one of the assignments of the 115 pictures in 2015 Flickr group. One of the assignments is "The Number 7". I figured a keyboard’s 7 key would do.
Quite a few times, I played around with DOF while watching Netflix, and never got anything I really liked. This approach of a longer exposure time and camera movement during the exposure worked better for me.
Today was a very busy day and I didn’t have time to shoot during the day. I knew that in advance though and made this photograph shortly after midnight last night 😉

My wife and I travel to where my work is at. We have a big dual-wheel pickup truck and a fifth-wheel trailer. It is big and like a luxury home inside. The bathroom is bigger than the one we had in many apartments we have lived in over the years. We have all the amenities of home in our big recreational vehicle, but getting the Internet while at the campgrounds was problematic. I was wondering what to do when I saw an ad that said click here for Internet in rural areas. I figured it was probably satellite Internet, and that was when I had the idea.
I got the Internet hooked up at our rural home, and I just take the dish with us. The fifth wheel has a big basement style storage area, so there is plenty of room for the five gallon bucket that has the dish pole concreted in it. I just set it out on the ground, mount the dish, run the cable and acquire a signal. Then we have stable and fast Internet at any campground we stay at. We like it a lot better than the cellular Internet we were using.
We can stream video and do our work on our computers even when the places we stay at have no Wi-Fi or only have spotty or slow Wi-Fi service. That pretty much describes every campground. Plus, I am not logging into a questionable service using my own satellite Internet. It is our own secure connection and account. I prefer getting Internet this way in our RV. Even when the park or campground Internet service is reliable, we still usually just use our own satellite Internet service instead. We may stream a show or two on the campground or park Internet to save bandwidth if we had a heavy use month, but that is about it.
FeaturedVPS Hosting: All of the Power, but Plenty of Savings
Not even 10 years ago it seemed that few customers really embraced online shopping and it seemed like more of a novelty than a real market. However, things have quickly changed as technology developed and now it is almost unheard of for a legitimate company to have no online presence. Whether the goal is to service customers or simply find potential customers in new locations, moving into the online realm can be a great step forward for almost any business out there. Of course it is sometimes much harder than people will assume, but VPS hosting can help make some aspects of the venture into the online world much easier.
The idea behind VPS hosting is to provide companies with the benefits of both shared hosting and dedicated hosting. Shared hosting is when a provider puts multiple clients on to one machine and separates them with control panels and folders. For basic websites this may be enough, but for those that need more customization or power, shared hosting is often simply not an option. Dedicated hosting is the more advanced option, as it provides a company with an entire machine dedicated specifically to hosting their website or web applications. This means they can pick a custom operating system and control all of the variables involved, which gives the most power and control possible.
A VPS essentially mimics a dedicated server, allowing customers to have tons of options for every aspect of their hosting environment. However, the actual hardware itself is still be shared with other customers in a controlled fashion. The basic idea is that you pay for a certain amount of storage space, processor power, and memory on the machine and then you are able to control every aspect of it. This results in lower costs than dedicated servers and often eliminates the need for expensive support plans, but still gives full control and power for websites that need it.
FeaturedFinding a New Place to Rent Was a Great Idea
I have often dreamed of having my own home for many reasons, but it’s also a lot of work to keep a house up on your own as well. I have been renting homes for awhile, but often, the home’s owner is hard to reach or doesn’t keep their promises. A girlfriend of mine told me that I should look at Alicante Villa Apartments where she used to live because she loved the place so much before she moved to another state for work purposes.
I was leery. I was used to living in a home, but at the same time, I was tired of the runaround that I got with each home’s owner when it came to keeping the place in good shape. When you have a water leak at 4AM, it is important to be able to get in touch with someone for help!
Curious, I decided to look at the website for the apartments my friend told me about. I really liked the photos and the layouts of the different apartments. What really caught my eye was the fact that under their amenities area, they explained that they have a maintenance department that can help you 24 hours per day. Wow! I had no idea that any apartment buildings had that type of service.
They also have activities planned for the residents, and I certainly had been wanting to get to know more people who live nearby. This spurred me on to give them a call, and they invited me over to look at some available units that same day. I ended up putting an application in that same day, and have told the owner of the home I am currently leasing that I am leaving next month for a better place at Alicante Villa! I am glad I decided to check into it.
When I finished school I had no choice but to move back in with my parents. I didn’t have a job and I didn’t have any money saved up so it was the only option I thought I had at the time. After a few years of living back at home, I realized it was a terrible idea and that I needed to leave the nest as soon as humanly possible. A friend of mine stayed in this complex called heron walk apartments. He had me over several times and I thought that it was a nice place. He told me that I should call up the complex and see if they had any units available to rent. I called up the place and they said that they indeed had one unit that was available and I asked if I could come by to check it out. We met and I received a tour of the unit and the surrounding complex. I liked what I saw and I asked for an application.
The woman asked me where I currently live and I was so embarrassed. I hate telling people that I live with my parents. Typically, anyone over the age of twenty is seen as some type of loser when they’re still living with their parents. It is highly frowned upon in society. There are different factors as to why you would want to stay with your parents even as you get older. The big factor is money. If they aren’t charging you rent, then that is a huge plus if your parents are allowing you to live with them. Another is simply convenience. It can be difficult to find place on your own and move all your stuff. In my case I just didn’t get along with my parents at all so I needed to get out.
I was tired of being fat. Yes, I said it. I was fat. To be blunt about it, I will even admit that I was morbidly obese. At some points the realization would hit me and I was terrified. Other times, I found that I had lost hope, and was mostly indifferent. But when I found that a stewardess needed to find a seatbelt extension for me on an airplane trip because of how big I was, I vowed them to learn about foods as soon as possible. Once home from my trip, I found nutritionstrategy.com after a lot of searching online for a good site that could give me the boost that I so badly needed to ditch the 175 extra pounds that I had packed on over the years.
I knew that friends had done a lot of different diets over the years. I had even tried a few myself. But what they did not do was really teach me about food. Some of the diets were ones where I bought a book or joined the author’s website to learn all that the diet entailed. Lots of interesting info with every one of those new diets that I started, but they taught me how to eat a certain way that benefited the diet mostly. They did not teach me about all foods in general and how to change my full eating habits for good.
When I found nutritionstrategy.com I was immediately intrigued that the owner of the site wants you to never have to struggle again with the way that you eat. He wants people to understand how easy it is to eat better at all times, not just change your habits for a short while. I ended up learning more than I had in the past, and I dropped the weight in a much more cohesive way that has stuck with me.
The normally healthy fish in my fish tank stopped eating one day and died. It was a strange occurrence, and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I thought maybe something had been wrong with the food I fed it, and checked for a recall. There wasn’t a recall, and there hadn’t been any reported cases of fish suddenly dying from the food. My next guess was that something is probably wrong with the water. I bought a kit from the Internet and tested the salt and chlorine levels. The test showed that the water was fine, which left me even more confused.
I could have gotten the fish tested, but that would have cost me a lot of money, and wouldn’t have brought the fish back anyway. At this point, I was running out of ideas. There was only one other thing that I could think of that would have killed my fish, and that was some kind of infection by bacteria or fungi. I looked on every part of the fish tank, from the glass to the gravel. On the gravel, I saw some strange coloring that wasn’t normal. Fungi had been growing under the gravel and slowly affecting the fish until it couldn’t take it anymore.
I’m going to go to the pet store next week and get a new fish. I’ve been thinking about getting an angel fish or maybe a betta fish. I’ll be sure to get some kind of anti fungal treatment for the fish tank in order to avoid another disaster like what happened to the last fish. I like fish because they’re easy pets to maintain, but when it comes to figuring out what is wrong with a fish, you might have a hard time. Other pets can be simply taken to a vet.
I was feeling desperate about keeping my business afloat. I had been so excited about quitting my past job and starting my own business, but I just could not seem to turn things in a direction that would take my company to another level. Unsure of what to do, I joined a forum where business owners help one another out for advice, and I asked for help. They all told me that I need to be on Facebook, and that I should buy Facebook fans early on. They all said this would help me more than I could imagine.
I love meeting new people, so the advice really appealed to me. I knew immediately that I would really enjoy posting things for others to view and getting feedback on them. So, I quickly made a business account, and made my first posts. Things were pretty quiet, though. I got a few “likes” here and there, but things did not seem to be really taking off. Remembering that I had been told to purchase a fan package, I decided to use some of my savings to do that. I found myself hoping that everyone was right.
It really did not take long to see what a big difference it made. I was not quite sure why it worked, but I had a hunch it is because people do not really pay attention to things that don’t look very popular. People like to be part of something bigger. So, when more followers began following my page, it made others very interested in doing it as well. It was then that I began feeling even more bolder now that I had a bigger audience. And people really started taking a keen interest in watching what I posted as well. They began asking more questions about what I sell and they started making more orders from me.
Great Brazilian Hair Bundles Make Weaves Look Better and Last Longer
If you want long and luxuriously silky hair but were not born with it, then Brazilian hair bundles can make it happen. I like them because they are virgin hair bundles. Ethnic hair is beautiful, but you don’t really want synthetics when you are doing a hair weave. You want all natural real human hair in your weaves, especially so you do not see any transition lines where you hair leaves off and the weaves begin. I have always wanted really long, wavy and soft hair. I was not born with that type of hair, so I had to make it happen another way.
Us girls spend a lot of time on our hair. We do the makeup, nails, clothes and accessories by rote day in and day out. However, every day is a hair adventure day. With you own natural hair, it can be quite a variable day in and day out with how it will look and conform to styling. My Brazilian hair bundles that get weaved in do not give me any styling hassles. The color matches perfectly, and the hair falls and moves like it is my own real hair.
I get compliments all of the time. No one knows it is not my hair. I do give credit to the stylist who does my weaves, but even she says it is made easier when using really good hair bundles to weave in. I brush it out every day and it keeps looking great. Of course you have to take care of it, but you do that with your real hair too. Every day in fact. We are either brushing, styling, washing or drying our hair before we go out. I’m the type that likes freshly washed hair each and every day. I work in the restaurant business as a chef, and I do not want lingering cooking odors in my hair. That is why I wash it every day. Good hair bundles make it easy to do without wearing out your weaves.
I can remember being 5 years old and cleaning up my room without my parents asking me to do it. All throughout my childhood, my mom boasted to all of her friends at how clean I kept everything. Often, other parents thought she was the one cleaning my room until they would visit and see me tidying up my room. I need things to be nice and clean even now as an adult. The only problem is that my time is now more limited, so I have been thinking about checking out cleaning services in Tampa to try to get a little help. The only thing is that I don’t know if they will do as good of a job as I do. This meant that I needed to do a little research to get the answers that I wanted.
First, I began asking around to a variety of people to find out which service they use to clean their homes. I knew it was one thing to use a service that I could learn about online and read reviews about, but I wanted some firsthand knowledge as well. I hang around with a lot of great and trustworthy people, so it only makes sense to get recommendations from people you know well.
After I got some answers about local cleaning businesses, I did a little homework online to learn more about each of them. This also helped me to view prices and even think of some questions up front to ask each company. After that, I was able to call each company and have a productive phone call that helped me further make up my mind.
One of the companies said that they would come over and take a look at my house and give me a quote afterward, so I took them up on that. They also ended up being the company that I chose. They have been over to my place twice now and done a great job both times.
I was never a fan of quick cash loans, because I didn’t like the idea of owing anyone money, even if for a short period of time. It wasn’t until I really needed one of these loans that I began to appreciate them. My wallet was picked from my pocket without my knowledge one day after riding on the train. When I got off the train and was ready to get some money from an ATM, I noticed that my pocket was lacking an object that I hold dear to my heart. I was panicking to find it, but I couldn’t even get back on the train I just off of because I didn’t have any money to pay for more fare, and my train pass card was in the wallet.
On top of all the bad things that could have happened that day, I left my phone at home, so there was no way I could call anyone for help. There wasn’t even a working payphone in the area. I thought I was at the end of my wits, when I saw a cash loan place on the corner of the street. I went inside and asked them if they could give me a loan.
The loan place gave me the money and I used it to make arrangements to get home. One I got home, I filed a police report about my stolen wallet and I called my bank and credit card companies to freeze my cards so whoever stole my wallet couldn’t use any of them to access my money. A few days later, my wallet was found by one of the train station officers. He caught a man who had been walking around on the different cars stealing peoples wallets without them realizing it until it was too late.
Shopping Organic Online for Singapore is Saving Me a Lot of Time
I was disappointed with the organic selections at most of the local grocery stores that I shop at. If you are the primary shopper for groceries in your home, you are probably aware that the bulk of the floor space in the store is taken up with regularly commercially grown, raised, prepared and produced items with a little space set aside for organic options. That is because organics are not mainstream yet. However, the trend is growing. In order to have real organic choices, I searched for organic online for Singapore. I found a place that will not only let you choose from a wonderful assortment of organics, they also deliver it right to your home.
My typical shopping trip exceeds the minimum amount needed to get free delivery. So, that means this is not costing me any extra to shop for organics online. I time my orders to be right around the amount needed to get free delivery. I really enjoy this form of shopping. I do not have to take our car or go by mass transit to the grocery store. I can just place and order and have it delivered right to our door on the upper floor of this condo where we live. That is an incredible convenience that I am enjoying more than I can really put into words.
It usually takes me about three hours or more to plan my shopping, get there, buy the items, get back and then put them away. Now all I have to do is plan what I want, order it online, wait for it to be delivered and put it away. That lengthy trip to and from the grocery store is cut out. I now use that free time for other things that are much more enjoyable than making a trip to the store. My last saved trip time was used to take a swim and then a long luxurious bath with candles and a book I was reading.
After some consideration and a lot of a debate, my wife and I have decided that we are going to move. It took awhile to figure out where we were going to move, but we have at least decided on Reliant TX for the place that we are going to move. We had to compromise a bit on where we were going to move, because neither of us wanted to move to the other ones first choice. I think that Reliant is going to be the company that we get our new electricity from as well. They seem like a good company, and we have a friend that gets their electricity through them, so I think it is a good idea for us as well.
Now that we have figured out where we are going to move, we need to start the process of finding a place to move into next. We need to put the house we currently have for sale on the market. I don’t know how long it is going to take to sell it. I think that it is a pretty nice house, and it should be worth a good bit on the market, but one of the issues that the location is not that good. So that could definitely make it a bit harder to sell.
I guess I will put it on the market and worry about when it sells later. Instead, I need to focus my intentions right now on the new house that we are going to buy, because that is the most important thing on my mind right now. I want to start looking at houses, and I am also going to look at electricity price in the area. I am just kind of curious about the electricity prices at the moment.
Rate Plans That Are Beneficial for Energy Customers
There is one thing that I learned about the companies that provide electricity in Texas. They are competing so hard to get a person to choose their service over their competitors that the main winner ends up being the customer. See, energy is deregulated in Texas, and that means that each individual household and business can choose the energy company that they want providing their electricity. Since there are quite a few in business in the area, they have to offer perks that the other companies don’t offer. Often, this comes through in their prices and rate plans, but there are other perks as well.
The rate plans are probably the best incentive for companies to use. Not everyone owns their own home, so they may want a monthly rate plan rather than a six month or 12 month plan. This is also beneficial for homeowners because some of the companies even allow a five year fixed rate plan. That is what I chose for myself, because I am not the type of person who likes surprises. I would rather know exactly what I am paying each month, but I know that there are others out there who don’t mind taking risks, especially when it can definitely go in their favor.
For people like that, a variable rate plan for any length of time would be perfect. All of these different rate plans means that a customer can get exactly what they want, instead of being at the mercy of a few plans that an energy company has for its customers. That is why I am so happy that I am in an area where we do have the freedom to choose what we want. Hopefully, the rest of the country will get caught up with us sooner rather than later.
I recently came across a cable company I hadn’t heard of before after moving to the city – Suddenlink – and I was rather surprised to find that they even existed! I’ve moved around quite a bit over the years which has had me becoming a customer of multiple providers – four in total and considering the distance between many of the places seems kind of odd if you ask me. I always wonder how they are able to actually handle the millions of customers that they have. I think back on the most recent event that caused every single one of Time Warner’s customers to lose access to the ‘Net because of some foul up.
That’s really messed up to me. That kind of thing shouldn’t be allowed to happen especially when you consider the kind of economic impact that it might have had on the country should they had lost access for longer than just the hour or so that it effected them. If it had been a whole day instead, millions of dollars may have been lost which would have been a serious concern for the company and for the country as a whole. This is why I believe in a separate of cable and Internet services.
We need some kind of rule here that will allow us to utilize the Internet as a utility while keeping our cable services in their pocket. I’m pretty happy with the subscription that I have, the cost is really fair and I get to watch all my favorite shows pretty much whenever I want to. I’m sort of a TV junkie so I’m really down with watching whatever most of the time, as long as I’m being entertained by it I don’t mind and I won’t complain! Things could be a lot worse.
Restore Your Own Belief Using Motivational Guides and Films
There is no doubt life is a lot more tough in today’s times. With all the disbelief across the world as well as the distressing graphics demonstrated every single day over the night news programs, it makes sense that lots of people end up getting frustrated and even lose their own faith. Having faith, nonetheless, is exactly what might help you survive every day and make everything you can for you to support and help individuals in need of help….
We had a hole in the roof that went unnoticed during light rain, but became obvious during those torrential spring downpours we had in the city. No one knew how the hole got there. It had a jagged edge and looked like something hit it at high velocity. The damage to the metal structure underneath suggested something hit it pretty fast, but we could not find any debris leftover from what hit it. The roofing contractors in NYC that we hired could not definitively say what caused it, but they were able to easily fix it.
People in the building never heard or saw anything. No one has access to the roof except building maintenance, and they had not been up there in some time. It was not caused by a gun because we had the police look at it so we could file an insurance claim. The hole was big enough to almost fit a baseball through. A guy on the roof repair crew suggested it may have been a meteorite or something from an airplane.
I found a news story showing a picture of a car that got hit by space debris and it put a hole in the trunk straight down through the car that kind of looked like this hole in the roof. However, there was no bits of whatever hit left behind to give a clue. One thing for certain is that the metal support structure it hit was damaged enough that a reinforcement section had to be welded on to fix it before the hole was fixed.
I’m leaning more toward the hole in the roof being caused by something that fell from an airplane. We are directly beneath the flight path from one of the airport runways. However, it could have been something from space. I think if it was that then the damage would have extended inside the building because of the velocity of those objects.
I’ve been working a new job doing some commercial roof repair in Bergen County NJ for a few weeks now and I’ve come to realize that construction is a lot harder than I had thought it would turn out to be. I haven’t been stable, employment wise, for a while now. From job to job I’ve bounced hoping to find something that I might enjoy while earning enough to make end’s meet. Having not finished college I’ve noticed that it’s becoming more and more difficult for me to find a job which is no doubt related to the fact that I’m growing older.
I always knew that something like this day would come. Growing up I hated school. Absolutely loathed it. I can’t even pinpoint exactly what it was that lead me to dislike school so much even though I enjoyed learning. I loved reading. I loved the Discovery Channel back when it was actually a channel that was devoted to science, history and nature. Learning was a big part of my life but for some reason the idea of going to school was a huge hassle. I disliked being told what to do and the very notion of homework was repulsive.
I should have gone to college. I still could, I suppose, but is the time and financial investment going to be worth it? Will I be able to stand on my own two feet? I have a feeling that should I go to school I might end up spending more time than I necessary trying to attain a degree that may not help me. Then again, I could get a degree that would be able to help me financially but then I would also be in debt due to the loans that I would be forced to take out to afford school.
Even though I have always taken good care of my teeth, I needed to see a specialist about having extensive dental work done. All the care in the world couldn’t have prevented it from happening. I was at the ball field with some friends when a ball hit me right in the mouth. It chipped two teeth and cracked two others. The chipped teeth were easy to fix, but the cracked ones were not. I did a search for a dentist specialised in dental implants because I knew that more than likely, I was going to need to have dental implants to replace the two cracked teeth.
I was able to find a dental center that is close to where I live. I was able to get in quickly, which was a huge relief to me. I was on pain tablets, but I just wanted to get the work done and over with. They did some X-rays so they could see the extent of the damage. They were able to actually save three of my teeth, but the fourth one did have to come out. They did the extraction that same day because they were worried that I could get an infection from the damage.
I was told that I was a prime candidate for a dental implant for the missing tooth because I was healthy otherwise. I had plenty of bone right around that area, and the care I have always given to my oral hygiene played a large part in it as well. After the implant was done, it was impossible for anyone to even know which tooth was the implant. It looks so much like my other teeth that even I forget sometimes! I am so happy that I still have a nice smile, and I shouldn’t have any more problems with it.
Wondering if this place is worth the money, although it is pretty obvious that it is a bargain on some levels. The place is a bit run down and a friend of mine was telling me about it. He is a specialist who does boiler repair and boiler installation in Morris county NJ. The people who own the place have a pretty good sized problem in that there is a half basement with an old broken down boiler in it. There is just not much way to fix that thing in an economical manner and it would be a pretty good trick to get it out of there and replace it. Of course the guy could do it, but it is going to be a real problem. He thinks that he would have to cut it up in to little pieces and carry it out of there one piece at a time. I am think that would be expensive, but this guy owes me for some stuff I did for him and he was telling me about this in case I wanted to wipe the books clean on that job.
The math on it is pretty tough to figure, especially because I do not plan on living there. If I could move in it, then I could work there in my spare time and fix it up in the course of a few months. The location is bad for me though. It would make my life pretty tough on most days and I would be caught in traffic every morning and again at night if I took the place on. That part of it is not going to happen, because money is one thing and being miserable is quite a different thing. You just do not do stuff that is going to make you unhappy.
With my work in airport transportation in Bergen County NJ, I have been able to save more money than I have with any other job that I’ve had in the same field. I take pride knowing that I am one of the few employees of this company who can be considered a delivery lifer – I’ve done everything involving delivery. From working as a truck driver to a bicycle delivery person, I’ve handled every type of package or goods that can be imagined. This is my first time actually delivering people and I’m beginning to wonder why I never did it before.
The money is ridiculous. Sure, you have to be courteous to almost insane levels. I’m typically driving around people who make more money than my entire family has in the entirety of their existence! This is why I’ve got to be on my best behavior, look good and say all the right things to all of their questions. With some wit, charm and a willingness to please I’ve been able to make some pretty fat tips that have left my co-workers wondering what it is I’m really doing to earn them. They just have no idea how to play the game.
Most people want their ego strokes. They want to feel good about themselves and with positive reinforcement, they are more than happy to talk to you. Then again, it can be said that what people really want is to have someone to talk to. I’m that ear. I know when to say something and I know when to keep quiet. Sometimes they just want to share some stressful moment of their day or let something off their chest to a stranger. I rarely see these people again which no doubt makes it all the much easier to give a nice tip.
Within American society exists a dark undercurrent which seeks to pervert the notion of sexuality as something to be feared, to vilify and to fear as a tool being wielded by those who would seek to express dominant sexual power as a method of control. This sort of narrative exists in groups that are made up of both men and women whose entire purpose is to undermine the opposite gender. In my humble opinion, these groups have completely lost their…
